I don’t have any swimming experience – how does TCM deal with this?

Not a problem at all! During the swim training we swim in 5 lanes according to speed and experience. The swim trainer can support anyone individually and there is plenty of exchange of tips and advice among the members. In this way anyone is taken into account and you can train with us not matter what your level is!

Is there an obligation for members to participate in races?

No, not at all. You choose for those races that you like, and if you only come to do your training that’s perfectly fine as well. But often, especially if there is a race nearby, there are a couple of TCM members who will go there together – either to participate or just to stand on the side to cheer for the others. Members also often will join up to make trips together to races abroad (France, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, even USA). There is thus always a group pf clubmates whom you can ask so that you’ll never have to go to a race by yourself!

Can I come and take a look how TCM trainings look like?

Of course you can just come by some time for a free test training to get to know us and to see how our trainings look like. Just contact us through the contact form or via email or phone!

Which equipment to I need to take part in triathlons?

You can easily participate in triathlons with a minimal set of equipment! For many recreative races you need in principle only swim clothes and goggles, a bike (for many races it can even be a city bike!), a helmet and running shoes. Of course there is also all kinds of extra equipment that is a bonus but not a must. But for us it’s always the sport comes first!

How often do I have to train to join TCM?

With us you don’t at all have to have done an “Ironman” – you can join us with any training background, from absolute beginner to ambitious triathlete! For each traning (wim, bike and run) we divide ourselves into different groups according to the various levels, so that anyone can participate at the training intensity that is right for them. Just started with sport? No problem at TCM, so just give it a try
